About the experience
At the rafting base you will be equipped with neoprene, boots, helmet and vest and we will transport you to the start. There will be a river safety briefing. The rafting route along the Struma is 12 + km long, lasts 3.30 – 4 hours and is located in the heart of the Kresnen gorge, the river has difficulty class 2 – 4 on the international scale. After the descent, you will have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant next to the base.
Descents
There are descents every day from March to November from 10 am to 2 pm!
In the spring the river is full and faster. In the summer it is calm and warmer.
Our base is located at the Kresnen Inns on the Struma River. About 120 km south of Sofia, an hour and a half by car on the main road E79.
CONDITIONS
Reservation
With advance reservation at least 5 days in advance, in summer at the earliest.
Cancellation and modification
To cancel or change an already made reservation at least 48 hours before the event. If a reservation is made and not canceled in time, for reconfirmation on a different date from the schedule, an additional fee of BGN 30 is paid for a single jump.
Limits
Minimum age is 6 years.
Number of participants
We have different types of boats according to group size and river level. From 4 to 8 people can row in one boat. If you are a larger group, we will divide you into boats and you will descend together.
Duration
The experience is about 3.30 – 4 hours. In the spring the river is full and faster. In summer it is calm and warmer.
Clothing
Bring a towel, slippers, swimsuit, socks and synthetic t-shirt/thermal underwear and a good mood. We do not recommend wearing cotton t-shirts.
